The Department was granted support for a research project by the Swedish Cancer SocietySara Ek: Evaluation of Sox11 as therapeutic target in B cell lymphomas and analysis of its functional properties in malignant cells.
SSF grant to Professor Mats Ohlin
Prof. Mats Ohlin was granted 2.5 MSEK by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research to support an industrial PhD student program entitled Target and antibody drug discovery in cancer in collaboration with BioInvent Int. AB.

The Department was granted support for two research projects by the Swedish Research Council:Doc. Sara Ek: Deciphering the molecular mechanisms of SOX11-related tumor growth.Prof. Mats Ohlin: Human monoclonal IgE - addressing clinical aspects in allergy using molecular tools.
Dr. Malin Lindstedt and Prof. Carl Borrebaeck were awarded a grant from Vinnova for a project entitled "Utveckling av ny vaccinprincip baserad på intracellulär antigenfrisättning från nanopartiklar"

Prof. Mats Ohlin was granted support for a research project on the development of carbohydrate-specific probes by molecular engineering from the Swedish Research Council.
