Dr. Malin Lindstedt was appointed Assoc. Prof. (docent) in Immunotechnology.

The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research (MISTRA) will fund a second phase of the Mistra Biotech program. The program is hosted by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and deeply involves Assoc Prof. Fredrik Levander of the Dept. of Immunotechnology.

Dr. Elin Gustavsson, a former PhD student at the Dept. of Immunotechnology, was awarded a price for best thesis conducted within the framework of the CREATE Health strategic center for translational cancer research during 2009-2010.

Assoc. Prof. Malin Lindstedt of the Dept. of Immunotechnology was today awarded a grant of 6 MSEK from the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research for a project entitled Prediction of sensibilisation by a cell-based assay system.

Prof. Mats Ohlin was awarded the distinction of Excellent Teaching Practitioner by the Lund School of Technology and he was accepted as member of the School's Pedagogic Academy.

The head of the Dept. of Immunotechnology, Prof. Carl Borrebaeck, was appointed Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Lund University. He will focus on the University's innovation strategies.
