Dr. Anders Carlsson of the Dept. of Immunotechnology was awarded the Gina Prize for the best clinical/translational research article published during 2011 within BioCARE, a strategic cancer research program run by Lund University and University of Gothenburg.

The prize was awarded for the findings reported in:
Carlsson et al. (2011) Molecular serum portraits in patients with primary breast cancer predict the development of distant metastases PNAS 108, 14252-14257 (Abstract).
