Immunotherapy for cancer and the development of novel therapeutics based on biopharmaceuticals, has been at the centre of my research in the past years. I specifically investigate how the immune system interacts with the tumour microenvironment, while in parallel developing in vitro models that test the activity and efficacy of novel immunotherapies.
