The research within our group is focused on Precision Medicine, Early Diagnosis and Biomarker Discovery within oncology. This is done by investigating different cells and molecules that are part of the immune system.

The following projects are actively pursued:

1. Characterization of tumor infiltrating Tcells and Dendritic cells to identify target molecules for targeted therapy and immune regulation
2. Precision Diagnostics for early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, as well as improved diagnostics of prostate cancer
3. Somatic markers associated with psychologic resilience, with a particular focus on the epigenomics.
4. Affinity proteomics based on antibody microarrays.

The research is focused on clinically defined problems, aimed for today´s patient and not only for patients of next generation. The goal is to rapidly achieve clinical utility and value for society, both as cutting-edge science as well as innovative start-up companies.
