Malin Lindstedt, Professor of Immunotechnology, is the second prize winner of the Foundation for Strategic Research Award for Researchers. The prize goes to the researcher who showed his greatest commitment and had the highest innovation lelvel in their research. Malin Lindstedt has developed a series of tests under the name GARD, including "GARDpotency", which is used to predict the level of allergenicity for chemicals. This is of great importance for risk assessment of chemicals in, for example, the cosmetics industry. Malin research is behind seven patents and she is one of the founders of the company SenzaGen AB. The company currently has 14 employees and has also established a subsidiary in the US to reach the US market.
