Development of bispecific antibodies to activate immune system against cancer

Harnessing the immune system’s natural ability to fight cancer is at the heart of research from the Department of Immunotechnology and Alligator Bioscience. The team is developing a new type of antibody able to stimulate immune activity and enhance the body’s response against cancer. The findings may help pave the way for more effective immunotherapies with broader patient benefit.

Prof. Malin Lindestedt, head of the Department, and Petter Ellmark, head of translational research at Alligator Bioscience, are leading the industrial PhD project of Hampus Andersson.
