Anna Sandström appointed as Associate Professor in Immunotechnology

Anna Sandström has been appointed as Associate Professor in Immunotechnology by the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Her research is focused on spatial biology of solid tumors. Currently, her group is working on profiling tumor microenvironments of ovarian cancer to understand susceptibility of targeted treatments including different immunotherapies, for subgroups of patients. They are also developing frameworks for deep learning of tissue images and spatio-molecular data for modelling prognosis and response to therapy.
